Riordan’s Food House is located in the historic building of 7 Quay Street, Galway, in the heart of the city’s Latin Quarter – right across from the famous Tigh Neachtain and nearby The Quays Bar (both known for Guinness and Craic). Within this apt setting, Riordan’s has been providing homely, Irish meals including stews, shepherd’s pies and its famous Irish breakfast for over a decade. As the only Quay Street restaurant to specialise in affordable, traditional Irish food, it has become a favourite amongst locals and tourists alike.
Riordans recently closed for refurbishments. It reopened on Friday 7th February, 2014, under new management. The Riordan’s team has developed its menu options, decor and services taking into account an ever-changing market. While retaining improved versions of many old favourites from the original menu, its new repetoire offers additional specials to cater more for the diversity of contemporary tastes. These subtle changes were well received by new-comers and regulars alike. We hope you, too, will check it out soon!
