I must say that I really enjoyed this restaurant. This was the very first meal I had while in Ireland. The restaurant had a nice, cozy environment. I would describe it as adorable (think of a country cottage in restaurant form). The prices were great (or at least comparable to food prices in Houston, TX) which was nice especially after hearing about everything in Europe being more expensive. The food is simple, traditional Irish food. I would definitely make my way back here when I come back to Galway!
Loved it! Traditional home style Irish food, and tons of it. I had the Shepard’s pie and it was amazing! The building is very narrow, it was probably a home a one time, the biggest table seats 4, so I wouldn’t take a large group. Shirley, the owner, served us and was very friendly once we started a conversation with her. The desserts were out of this world, I had the Bailey’s cheesecake.
